Zine Fest Houston 2015 will be on October 17th, 2-8pm at
1324 W. Clay St.
Programming scheduled during the day includes: a conversation with People of Color Zine Project (POCZP), a panel discussion about event organizing featuring Zine Fest Houston founder, Shane Patrick Boyle, Kiernan Dunn of New Orleans Community Print Shop, comic artist and illustrator Inés Estrada, and Chris “Uncle Staple” Nicholas of Staple! Independent Media Expo, and a special performance of Good Evening with Conner and Billy by the comedic art collective, MicroSatan. In addition, there will be raffles, demos in the Bookbinding Studio by Lee Steiner of Domestic Papers, and a zine workshop and scavenger hunt for kids and teens!
The annual Zine Fest Houston event will be at The Printing Museum (1324 W. Clay, Houston, TX 77019) on Saturday, October 17 from 2-8pm. Zine Fest Houston 2015 is open to the public free of charge and all ages are welcome.
Celebrations will continue at the Zine Fest Houston after party starting around 9pm at The Summit (3536 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003) over in the Eastside.
